While driving through La Gomera on TF-713 from San Sebastian, you’ll encounter incredible views without needing serious hiking gear. Keep an ear out for Silbo Gomero, the island’s unique whistling language once used to communicate over long distances.
In San Sebastian, you can embark on sailing tours to explore the island and its beautiful waters, with options like Canary Sail and Oceano Whale Watching available.
El Hierro is home to the stunning Charco Azul bathing pools in the El Golfo valley, perfect for a relaxing day. You’ll also find a quaint chapel surrounded by volcanic hills and the Mirador De La Peña viewpoint for great sunset views.
Gran Canaria’s Teror is a must-visit town known for its historic Basilica and charming streets. Don’t miss nearby Arucas with its iconic Church of San Juan Bautista and delightful eateries like Gourie 3.
In Fuerteventura, El Cotillo beach is ideal for a beach day or surfing. The annual kite festival in the sand dunes is a colorful spectacle not to be missed. Admire the Morro Velosa Statues for stargazing and venture to Lobos Island for a short catamaran trip.
